Cheat Custard
A MICROWAVABLE RECIPE.
Serves 1
Method:
Heat up the milk with some vanilla extract if using, in the microwave for 1 minute. Meanwhilst whisk vigorously the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl.
Gradually stream 2/3 of the milk bit by bit to the egg mixture, carry on whisking vigorously.
Heat up the custard mixture for about 30 seconds, the whisk again. Pop in the microwave for a further 10 seconds until a creamy layer forms on top.
Whisk well until any lumps have disappeared, and gradually add the rest of the milk, still whisking well.
Let cool down and serve!

1 Egg Yolk
1 tsp Cornflour
50ml Milk
1 tsp Maple/Agave Syrup or Sugar
A pinch of Ground Nutmeg (optional)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
