spirulina bowl
Okay so a green bowl… may not be the most appetising thing to start your day off but it tastes of vanilla that’s for sure! You can always add any type of protein powder flavour you like to it but vanilla works really well with this recipe :)
Spirulina Protein Bowl (VE, GF)
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
Handful of Leafy Greens (Spinach, Kale)
1/2 tsp Spirulina Powder
1 Celery (chopped)
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (I use the MyVegan Soy Protein Powder)
1/2 tsp Natural Sweetener (Honey, agave syrup, maple syrup)
Splash of Milk
1 tsp Almond Butter
Pinch of Sea Salt
Optional: ground flaxseeds, chia seeds, cinnamon.
Method:
Blend all ingredients. Add a dash more milk if needed but the thicker the better ;)
Top with granola, chia seeds, coconut flakes…
